Phase I, II, and III trainings each consist of two weeks, A and B. Upon successful completion of both weeks of training, certificates will be issued.
Phase I Training
- Introduction of UCSI concept
- Use of open circuit surface-supplied life support technology in high-silt/limited visibility environment
- HAZMAT Level 1 (Biological) utilizing open circuit surface-supplied life support technology
- Advanced sensing technology, including side-scan sonar and ROVs
- Underwater surveying and mapping
- Underwater still photography and video photography
- Protocol development
- Reliability assessment
Phase II Training
- Advanced HAZMAT Level ll (chemical) diving utilizing Nitrox life support technology
- Advanced surface supplied diving (Superlite 17)
- Advanced diver communications
- Diver decontamination
- Physical evidence decontamination
- Enhanced performance with technology
- Underwater physical evidence recovery
- Overhead diving environments
Phase III Training
- Advanced HAZMAT Level lll (radiation) utilizing free-flow life support technology training
- Worst-case scenarios and multi-agency operations
- Mass Casualty Incidents
- Deep water evidence recovery
- Advanced accident investigation
